While most beginners usually have some knowledge of English, it’s always worth making sure that the basics are covered fully. The attached download is a 20 point check list of skills, basic grammar points and ‘Can Do’ priorities that all beginners need, as well as another list for the order of introduction. I always have a copy of this in my class register for any beginner student or group to make sure I have covered all the basics.
