Present Continuous Speaking Practice For A2-B1 Learners
This lesson uses a collection of ten action-focused cartoon images to practice the Present Continuous.
Each image prompts learners to describe what people are doing. It makes it easy to generate meaningful sentences such as “She is running” or “They are eating.”
Although this is primarily an activity suited to Elementary and Pre-Intermediate levels, the images can be used as a warmer for Intermediate learners.
For stronger or Intermediate learners, the images also work well as a quick warmer, encouraging fast-paced revision or more creative storytelling.
